What to Expect

Family Involvement, Communication and Flexibilty

At Santé, we strive to give kids the tools they need to succeed. We believe that our approach to therapy benefits not only the child, but everyone involved.

After receiving a referral, we will contact the patient directly to schedule an initial evaluation where a licensed therapist will assess the child’s needs. Our therapist will then determine an appropriate plan of care for the child based on this initial evaluation.

The plan of care will need to be signed off by the physician before regular therapy can begin. Once the plan of care is approved, Santé will contact the patient and begin to schedule regular therapy sessions either in one of our 10 kid-centered clinics, the child’s home or other non-clinic settings.

At each visit, a licensed, certified therapist will work with the child on the different skills that were determined during the initial evaluation and the plan of care. We regularly update the child’s parents/caregivers and physicians, so that everyone will be informed on the child’s progress. Therapy for a child at Santé is an ongoing process and goals can met, readdressed and updated based on recommendations from parents/caregivers and physicians.

Santé strives to put kids first, and with your help we can help kids reach their highest potential.
