Therapist Support & Mentoring

Communication is but a phone call or email away.  Working in home health can be isolating.  Santé has taken steps to ensure that our staff does not feel alone.  New pediatric therapists are paired with one of our more experienced therapists after joining our company.  There are few educational opportunities directly related to the home health setting.  Therefore, we provide a New Graduate Mentoring Program for all of our full time new graduate therapists.  This program provides structured mentoring opportunities for the first 4 months of employment.  This time is built into their schedule and coordinated with their experienced supervisor in order to ensure confidence within their new employment field.  Supervisors provide new therapists opportunities to learn various treatment approaches and counseling.

Therapy student affiliation program

Santé currently holds contracts with over twenty-five college and university therapy programs.  Students interested in completing observations or clinical affiliations with Santé, should contact Linda Downs at ldowns@santerehab.com.

Every day, our professional staff works with patients from one month old to 21 years old in Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, El Paso, San Antonio, Tyler and surrounding areas. In keeping with our mission, vision, and goals, our pediatric programs are licensed by the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), and a member of the Texas Association for Home Care.

Santé is certified by Medicare and Medicaid, plus clinics and staff meet the credentialing requirements of contracted managed care organizations.
